Despite all this, the college survived the war, and began to thrive again, with a college building being completed in 1958. From the 60s it was once again it was associated with some of the leading cultural figures of the day. Bridget Riley create a mural for the Morley Gallery at the college and Peter Blake exhibited a solo show.
